About YFH

Young Foxes Hockey (YFH) is a developmental ice hockey program for children (ages 5-14) focusing on skill development in skating, hockey strategies, and the rules of the game.  Prior skating or ice hockey experience is not required.  From September through March, YFH practices once per week and plays games with other local developmental teams. There is no geographic residency requirement to join YFH. Because the "home ice" of Young Foxes Hockey is Alpha Ice Complex in Harmarville, PA, YFH players tend to come from within the City of Pittsburgh and surrounding communities (Harmar, O'Hara, Fox Chapel, Hampton, Deer Lakes, Tarentum, Cheswick, Oakmont, Indiana Twp., Shaler, Plum, etc).  All are welcome to join YFH!

Founded  in 1990, Young Foxes Hockey is a Pennsylvania non-profit coporation. It is exempt from Federal income tax pursuant to Internal Revenue Code section 501(c)(7).
